Michael was wearing his rain jacket that has a picture of a firetruck on it. Asher asked Lencho what you call that in Spanish, and Lencho said, "Camion de bomberos. Is there a lot of those in the states? " he asked. Asher answered, "Yes, every town has their own fire station." Lencho said, "Well, there's only one fireman around here. He's the One thats making it rain right now:)"
Lencho offered Asher a mango the other day. After he ate it, Lencho said, "Do you want another one?" Asher said,"Yes." Lencho said, "Well, keep on wanting one because there isn't anymore."
Asher and I met by the washing area and were having a face to face quick minute talk about issues of the day. Sofia, Daya, Nicole and the girls were standing around having a conversation, as well. Sofia looks over and sees us talking. Nicole tells us she says: "Tell them not to eat their "hot bread" in front of us poor folks who don't have any." (This is apparently something the women say when their men aren't around:)
Lencho will often come and squeeze Asher around the stomach. One day as he was sitting there, he exclaimed to Asher, "I just like to burry myself here."
On one of the days that we were going to do internet, Billy let us borrow his computer because he heard we were short one. When I told this to Asher, Rafael asked, "Why? Does Billy have a long computer?"
